I had behavior schemes for number of situations. Schemes for, in my mind, getting people to give me what I need. Then one of my new friends turned out to be a psychologist. She learned my theories and said that they all in fact come down to one psychological concept, term: I-messages. This means that if you want to get what you want, you keep being honest about it and say it they way you feel it. This goes mainly for friendships and romantic relations.
